About Our Program
The Lake Travis Model United Nations (LAKEMUN) organization is a 501(c)-3 Non-Profit Organization managed by our booster club parents, sponsors, and club officers. We actively participate in competitive Model UN Conferences around Texas. Students involved in our program get the opportunity to learn crucial teamwork, leadership, and public speaking skills, while also earning prestigious awards. Our student led program involves both a class and a club, students may choose which to participate in. Our program is rapidly growing and becomes more successful each year.​​
Banquet 2025
​Our officers work tirelessly to manage one of the most unique and effective programs at Lake Travis High School. Every single class period is dedicated to improving the debate skills of our members with different Crisis and GA topics, debate drills, and writing position and resolution papers. We are among the best programs in Texas, ranking as one of the top 3 programs in the state and top 25 in the USA. In the year 2024-2025, our program acquired 83 awards, including 24 best delegates, over the span of 7 different conferences.
